All prices are fully inclusive of heating, food, insurance and your pets
daily management. Our own Pet Insurance policy is included
for your cat(s) in the tariffs listed below, for the duration of their stay
with us, (up to £1,250 per cat). Please see
our Terms/Conditons and
Important Info. which relate
to all bookings made.
Effective in respect of new bookings from August 25th 2023, our boarding fees are changing. This is
still largely to address continued increases in running costs, for example a doubling of litter costs and significant
price rises of all the foods we supply. A single cat is £15/day and two cats sharing £22/day. We will not be charging
specific winter supplements, as many catteries do.
The family run, which can hold up to five cats is £30/day for
three cats or less, £37/day for four cats and £46/day for five cats. We continue to provide guaranteed health cover for your cat, with our inclusive pet insurance, in your absence, up to £1,250 per cat, again, many catteries do not offer this type or level of assurance at all..
There is a minimum of a four day booking charge - £60 (single cat) for booking
durations that last for less than this length.
Unauthorised overstays and non-authorised stays, (either turning up 'out of the blue', or after having had a
booking request cancelled, through a booking deposit not having been paid) will be charged at twice the rate for the
period in question.
We apply a supplement of £15 per run to all bookings made
over each of the following days - Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
The final day of opening prior to Christmas Day is 23rd December, unless 23rd happens to fall
on a Sunday, a day on which we are in any case closed, in that case, the last intake day prior to
Christmas Day would be Saturday 22nd. We are also closed for our evening session only on New
Year's Eve, unless it also falls on a Sunday, a day on which we are in any case closed.
Managing the incoming and/or outgoing migration of cats with a domestic animal transport company,
carries our standard collection/delivery fee, which ensures their smooth
arrival or departure from Cats Country Club and any allied "on the day" logistics that need addressing. In the event
that either a drop-off or pick-up appointment is broken by a domestic animal transport company, this will be
charged using our standard collection/delivery fee per hour or part
thereof, rounded up to the next hour. If this break in the appointment results in the booking traversing into the next
booking day, there will also be unauthorised overstay charges applicable, which currently are double the standard
daily rate.
We reserve the right to adjust costs associated with bookings made prior to the calendar year that they're taken in and/or if they're greater than 6 months in advance from the date of booking.
BEDDING
If we supply 'soft' bedding, a charge of £4.00 is applicable per cat stay,
this helps go towards washing/sanitation of the bed/bedding, the plastic bed
is still free of charge however.
FLEAS & WORMS
When kept in the relatively close confines of a cattery, not much goes un-noticed and
as such, sometimes we see things that owners may miss. Cleaning runs with a wet cloth
and disinfectant can yield the tell-tale signs of flea dirt, as bright red blood spots on the cloth.
Flea dirt can also be seen with the naked eye in some cases, appearing as fine ground black pepper.
If your cat(s) have fleas, they will probably also carry a worm burden, roundworm and maybe
tapeworm too. (One kind of tapeworm uses the flea as an intermediary host). For the cat(s) ongoing
welfare and because we can't afford to have a flea outbreak in the close confines of the cattery
and risk compromising other cats. If we find your cat(s) to be shedding flea dirt, we will administer
a flea treatment and a charge of £20 per cat will be added to the boarding fees. This will address fleas
and may address roundworm, but will not address any tapeworm burden.
MEDICATION/SUPPLEMENTS - your cat(s) medical care.
Administering daily medications/supplements can be both difficult and time consuming, especially in a
cattery environment. We are happy to accept cats that are on routine medication provided their medical
condition is stable. Any medication/supplement needs to be discussed at the time of the booking. Also that
your cat(s) do not require medical supervision and so should not actually be boarded at your veterinary
surgeons.
Administration of medications/supplements follows the following fee structure and will be
charged per dose of each individual medicine/supplement:
Medication/supplement given in food: £1.00
Medication/supplement given orally, body-applied or injections: £2.50
Cats from the same household sharing a chalet, when one cat is on medication and others not, it may be
necessary to board the cat(s) under treatment separately, helping ensure the medication/special diet is being
administered as intended.
Please note: we will not accept any cat that is acutely unwell on admission.
In the event that your cat requires off-site medical attention, Cats Country Club will transport your cat to the
veterinary surgery. There will be a fee of £25.00 for this service.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
At Cats Country Club we pride ourselves in going the extra mile. This
is reflected in the additional free services that we can offer to cats and
their owners that come and stay with us. These can include:-
Grooming.
If requested and generally only for longer stays, it maybe possible for your
cat(s) photo or a short section of video to be placed on our Facebook
Page whilst you're away. However we can not guarantee success in this area for several
reasons!! It maybe that the cattery is too busy, your cat(s) are very nervous and/or
clearly don't want to be handled sufficiently to allow such events to be take
place. We will however do what we can, if we've made an arrangement in relation
to doing this, for you.
