• At the Clophill roundabout, on the A6, take the A507 towards Shefford.
• In about ¾ mile turn right to Gravenhurst, (marked Clophill Road) follow the road and don't turn off.
• Straight through Upper Gravenhurst, down through Lower Gravenhurst (church) and a couple of houses.
• Past Great Ion Farm (Gravenhurst Saddlery) on the right, then after 150 yards turn left opposite a white house, signed to Shillington 1¼m.
• Keep going straight on, past College Farm (Frank Redman & Sons) on the left and then over a little bridge.
• Turn right at the next forked junction, signed Barton and Pirton, you should now be opposite Hanscombe End Farm, there are several large black corrugated farm buildings opposite.
• Drive about 150 yards and then turn left down the Public Bridlepath, just short of the main junction. Our entrance is between the black farm buildings (Hanscombe End Farm) and the large black wrought iron gates fronting a red brick building, check the animated picture (top of this page), for how the final few yards look and drive right to the end.

Directions from Stevenage/Hitchin (Pirton direction).

• Either head out of Hitchin towards the B655 towards Barton-Le-Clay.
• As you head out of the 40mph speed limit start to look and then take a right hand turn towards Pirton, it is opposite Carters Lane, formerly known as Wibbly Wobbly Lane!
• Keep driving straight through Pirton - there are 3 junctions before the T-junction mentioned below, do not turn off the Hitchin Road, or bear right on any of them, keep left/straight on for all three junctions!
• On reaching a T-junction turn left towards Shillington.
• Follow the road into Shillington, past the Old Peoples Home.
• At the junction go straight on, but slightly left down Hanscombe End Road, heading towards the direction of Barton & Higham Gobion, (but not going there!!) follow the road straight on for about ½ mile, past two signs to Green Farm (was Model Farm) on your left, after which, the houses on the left eventually come to a stop.
• Just as you leave the houses on the left behind, the road bends 90 degrees left, ⅓ of a mile from the last Green Farm sign, turn right at this point.
• Our entrance is between the large black wrought iron gates fronting a red brick building and the black farm buildings, (Hanscombe End Farm) so almost immediately, but in around 50 yards, turn right down the Public Bridleway, by the laurel bushes, check the animated picture (top of this page), for how the final few yards look and drive right to the end.

Directions from Letchworth (Stotfold, Lower Stondon direction).

• Head towards the A507 towards Stotfold.
• At the roundabout junction with the A507 turn left towards Arlsey.
• Follow the A507 towards Shefford, cross over the railway bridge.
• At the next roundabout turn left towards Henlow Camp.
• Head towards Lower Stondon, keep going straight on towards Shillington.
• As you come into Shillington, bear left, going past F.C. Dawes garage on the left and then Eric Bowles garage on the right, keep straight on.
• Go past The Crown Public House (on your right) follow the road round.
• As you near a junction the road turns right back on itself to the right, follow it round to the right.
• Heading towards the direction of Higham Gobion, (but not going there!!) after about ½ mile, past two signs to Green Farm (was Model Farm) on your left, after which, the houses on the left eventually come to a stop.
• Just as you leave the houses on the left behind, the road bends 90 degrees left, ⅓ of a mile from the last Green Farm sign, turn right at this point.

Directions from Biggleswade (Lower Stondon direction).

• Head out of Biggleswade on the A6001, towards Shefford.
• Keep going straight on and don't turn off.
• As you come into Shefford, turn right on the mini roundabout towards Bedford (A600).
• At the next mini roundabout take a left towards Campton.
• At the next roundabout go straight over towards Campton/Arlsey.
• In around 200 yards, turn right towards Campton, then drive straight through Campton to a T-junction.
• Turn right towards Upper Gravenhurst, drive straight on towards Upper Gravenhurst, past Town Farm Garage, then the Green Dragon Pub.
• Stay on the road through Upper Gravenhurst, no turning off, past the Church and the school to another T-junction, at this point turn left.
• Straight through Lower Gravenhurst (church) and a couple of houses.

• At the Barton roundabout, on the A6, (bypassing Barton) take a right hand turn towards Higham Gobion.
• Follow the road and don't turn off for around 3 miles, up through Higham Gobion, a business Park, a few houses and a Church.
• As you near a 90 degree right hand bend, turn left into Hanscombe End Road.
